Palm Springs has one of the largest concentrations of mid-century modern buildings in the world. The Kaufmann Desert House, the Tramway Gas Station, and hundreds of residential properties from the 1940s through 1960s are spread across the city. Modernism Week each February draws architects and design enthusiasts from around the world.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
The world's largest rotating tram car climbs from the desert floor at 2,643 feet to Mountain Station at 8,516 feet in about ten minutes. The top has hiking trails, two restaurants, and temperatures typically 30 to 40 degrees cooler than the valley below.
Downtown Palm Canyon Drive
The main street through downtown has restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the Palm Springs Art Museum within a walkable stretch. The Thursday night VillageFest street market runs year-round.

This house was even better than we expected. The aesthetic is beautiful, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully stocked the home was with everything you could possibly need during your stay.<br/>The layout was perfect for my bachelorette weekend because the house is so open and spacious, which made it easy for all eight of us to be together without ever feeling crowded. There was plenty of room to hang out, get ready, eat, and relax.<br/>We spent so much time by the pool, and the outdoor space was amazing. There were plenty of chairs and room for everyone to lounge comfortably, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. The house also had so many board games, which was such a fun added bonus.<br/>Overall, the home was beautiful, comfortable, incredibly well equipped, and such a great space for a group trip. It worked perfectly for our weekend and made the whole experience feel that much more special. We would absolutely stay here again!

A great and spacious house and pool. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil needed. Very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for us to spread out. The pool was perfect and well maintained. Overall a perfect spot to stay!

Awesome home with great mountain views. Home also has a bonus living room and bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms are much larger and nicer than the other 2. Big entertainer's kitchen.
