San Clemente has several well-known surf breaks, including Trestles at the south end of town, which hosts professional surf competitions. The city beach below the pier is calmer and good for swimming and paddleboarding.
Avenida Del Mar
The main downtown street runs from the train station down to the beach. It has independent restaurants, coffee shops, surf shops, and boutiques in a compact, walkable stretch.
Amtrak & Metrolink Access
San Clemente has two train stations on the Pacific Surfliner and Metrolink routes, making it one of the few Southern California beach towns with direct rail access from Los Angeles and San Diego.

This house was even better than we expected. The aesthetic is beautiful, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully stocked the home was with everything you could possibly need during your stay.<br/>The layout was perfect for my bachelorette weekend because the house is so open and spacious, which made it easy for all eight of us to be together without ever feeling crowded. There was plenty of room to hang out, get ready, eat, and relax.<br/>We spent so much time by the pool, and the outdoor space was amazing. There were plenty of chairs and room for everyone to lounge comfortably, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. The house also had so many board games, which was such a fun added bonus.<br/>Overall, the home was beautiful, comfortable, incredibly well equipped, and such a great space for a group trip. It worked perfectly for our weekend and made the whole experience feel that much more special. We would absolutely stay here again!

A great and spacious house and pool. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil needed. Very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for us to spread out. The pool was perfect and well maintained. Overall a perfect spot to stay!

Awesome home with great mountain views. Home also has a bonus living room and bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms are much larger and nicer than the other 2. Big entertainer's kitchen.
