Joshua Tree National Park North Entrance
The Oasis Visitor Center and the park's north entrance are in Twentynine Palms. From here you can reach Skull Rock, the Cholla Cactus Garden, and the Cottonwood Spring area without driving through the town of Joshua Tree first.
Dark Sky Community
Twentynine Palms is designated as an International Dark Sky Community. The Oasis of Mara, a short walk from the visitor center, is a good stargazing spot. The park itself has some of the least light-polluted skies in the greater Los Angeles region.
Twentynine Palms Art Colony
The town has a small but established arts community, with galleries and studios along Adobe Road and the surrounding streets. The 29 Palms Art Gallery has been operating since 1957.

This house was even better than we expected. The aesthetic is beautiful, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully stocked the home was with everything you could possibly need during your stay.<br/>The layout was perfect for my bachelorette weekend because the house is so open and spacious, which made it easy for all eight of us to be together without ever feeling crowded. There was plenty of room to hang out, get ready, eat, and relax.<br/>We spent so much time by the pool, and the outdoor space was amazing. There were plenty of chairs and room for everyone to lounge comfortably, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. The house also had so many board games, which was such a fun added bonus.<br/>Overall, the home was beautiful, comfortable, incredibly well equipped, and such a great space for a group trip. It worked perfectly for our weekend and made the whole experience feel that much more special. We would absolutely stay here again!

A great and spacious house and pool. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil needed. Very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for us to spread out. The pool was perfect and well maintained. Overall a perfect spot to stay!

Awesome home with great mountain views. Home also has a bonus living room and bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms are much larger and nicer than the other 2. Big entertainer's kitchen.
